Certification Fees

We use a two-step fee structure to keep entry accessible while covering the cost of verification and standards-based assessment. Fees are shown upfront. Payment is collected only when you enter each stage.

1) Application Processing Fee — $150

Paid when you submit. Covers file review and verification checks. Non-refundable once review begins.

2) Assessment & Credential Fee — $850

Paid only after you receive an Assessment Invitation (Offer). Includes the standards-based assessment and credential issuance.

3) Payment Plan Available— $150 × 6

Available upon invitation: 6 monthly payments of $150 (total $900). Autopay required. Credential issued after the fee is paid in full.

4) What if I’m not approved?

If your application is not accepted for assessment, the $850 is not charged. If you are assessed but not approved, no credential is issued; fees follow ICC’s published refund and withdrawal rules.
