Last Updated: January 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how ICC ENTERPRISE LLC (“ICC Enterprise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use our websites and online services, including icc.education and any affiliated pages or online services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”).

ICC Enterprise operates the Institute of Chinese Cuisine (ICC) platform and related initiatives, including Ready Employer and hranchor. ICC’s governance references Dean’s Office, Blue Banner Council, and the Standards & Credentials Office; these governance bodies may receive or review limited information as needed to administer integrity, credentialing verification, or honors governance, consistent with this Policy.

This Policy does not cover third-party websites, platforms, or services that we do not control (e.g., payment processors, scheduling platforms, or social media sites). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in three primary ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information from third parties.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings, pages viewed, time spent, referring/exit pages, clickstream data.

  • Approximate location: derived from IP address (typically city/region level).

  • Cookies and similar technologies: for essential functionality, preferences, analytics, and (where used) marketing.

  • Performance of services you request (e.g., providing programs, responding to inquiries);

  • Legitimate operational purposes (security, fraud prevention, program integrity, improvement); and

  • Your consent, where required (e.g., certain marketing, some cookies).

5) How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense. We may share information as follows:

A. Service Providers

We share information with vendors who perform services for us, such as hosting, analytics, communications, CRM, payment processing, scheduling, and security. Service providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide services to us.

B. Governance Bodies (Limited, Need-to-Know)

To administer ICC’s integrity and governance:

  • Dean’s Office may access limited information to support governance decisions and oversight.

  • Blue Banner Council may access limited information relevant to nominations, reviews, integrity, and honors governance.

  • Standards & Credentials Office may access information necessary to administer credentialing, verification, audits, renewals, or revocation procedures.

We aim to limit internal access to what is reasonably necessary for these functions.

C. Employer/Candidate Introductions

If you participate in employer desk or matching services, we may share limited information to facilitate introductions (e.g., profile summary, experience highlights, contact details), consistent with your selections and program rules.

D. Public Verification (Registry) Where Offered

If we operate a credential verification mechanism, we may display limited verification data (e.g., name or initials, credential status, level, date, verification ID) so that third parties can confirm authenticity. The exact fields displayed may vary by program and will be described at the point of participation.

E. Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may share information to:

  • Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government requests;

  • Enforce our Terms & Conditions;

  • Protect rights, safety, and security of ICC Enterprise, users, or the public;

  • Investigate and prevent fraud or security incidents.

F. Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

6) Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential operations (security, site functionality);

  • Preferences (language settings);

  • Analytics (understanding usage and improving the Site);

  • Marketing (if enabled, measuring campaign performance).

Your Choices

  • You can control cookies through your browser settings.

  • Some Site features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

  • If we deploy marketing cookies, we will provide any required disclosures/choices.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide Services and maintain your account or relationship with us;

  • Administer credentials, verification, renewals, and integrity safeguards;

  • Maintain audit trails and program records;

  • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes; and

  • Enforce agreements.

Credential verification records may be retained longer to preserve verification integrity and public trust, even if you stop using the Services, subject to applicable law.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Your Privacy Rights (California)
